~ Sail Klamath Lake...largest inland body of water in the Pacific Northwest ~

We provide sailing orientation and instruction for individuals, groups (up to 3 in a crew) and families. We regularly work with novice sailors who have never been on a sailboat before, those with some experience seeking piloting skills, as well as expert sailors refining technique and/or improving their boat's performance. If you have ever wished you could sail a boat or want a better understanding of the discipline, you can achieve some real progress with our program. Every sailor receives an electronic copy of our sailing manual, which references our boats and our lake but also provides an excellent base of knowledge for other sailing situations. Once sailors achieve an adequate level of competence and confidence and a respectful understanding of the existing hazards, day use boat rental is available.
Meridian's fleet features the Catalina 22 and the Catalina 25, both fixed keel. Safety equipment on board includes a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, air horn and life jackets. There is a boom mounted mainsail, working jib and genoa jib, auxiliary engine, swim ladder, extra line, porta-potty, cockpit cushions and bow-mounted anchor. All boats have interior cabin space with settee dining area and salon seating.
